Commenting as the Department for Education (DfE) today publishes a report looking at the importance of building school business leaders’ ‘capability, capacity and recognition’, Paul Whiteman, general secretary of school leaders’ union NAHT, said:

“It is welcome to see the Department recognising the important role that school business leaders play in the sector, and the need to invest in this part of the profession. However, the support remains limited, and far greater and sustained investment is needed to ensure that all business leaders can access high-quality professional development.”
