Global Action Plan, the UK's leading environmental behaviour change charity, is looking for schools to take part in their exciting new programme where one of your Year 5 or 6 classes can take action on air pollution.
Their Towards Clean Air Classrooms programme, which is free to participate in, is part of the first-of-its-kind nationwide experiment to see how air purification technology can improve the air quality in the classroom.
As one of the 20 schools from across the UK taking part, you would receive the air purification equipment and a workshop delivered by the Global Action Plan team, who will also leave the class with some fun STEM activities that will engage the students in the real-life experiment.
For this exciting new technology to be installed your school will need to have some availability during December. It would only take an hour or so to install.
The flyer and programme timeline which has more information are below.
If this sounds like something your school would be interested in and you would like to register your interest, please can you complete the following quick survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/KLZ6YNQ
If you have any questions, please do feel free to get in touch with schools@globalactionplan.org.uk
