NAHT launches its Women’s Network for members

On Tuesday 26 November 2024 NAHT launched its Women’s network, which gives its women members an opportunity to come together in a safe space to discuss issues they face. Women members from across the nations joined the launch event which was chaired by NAHT president Rachel Younger.

Rachel Younger said: “Our Women’s Network is a safe space for members to share their experiences, to celebrate what is so good about women leaders in education and to inspire each other.  It also offers a unique opportunity to shape NAHT policy around women’s issues.  If you’re wondering what it’s all about – just come along and find out!’’

Natasha Nicholson, NAHT regional head, said: “The launch of the women’s network is another step forwards in our commitment to equalities and seeking to challenge all forms of discrimination at all levels, by giving our women members an opportunity to come together and highlight issues affecting them which in turn will help to inform NAHT priorities.’’
