On average, two students in every class of 30 have a neurodevelopmental condition called developmental language disorder, or DLD.
With the right support, students with DLD can flourish at school, and the organisation Raising Awareness of Developmental Language Disorder has produced a set of resources to help teachers to identify and support those with DLD. These include:
Developmental Language Disorder Awareness Day took place on 15 October 2021, but these resources will remain available for education professionals to download and use.
