Commenting as the Education Secretary today announced that every school will be able to access high-speed internet by 2025, Paul Whiteman, general secretary of school leaders’ union NAHT, said:
“Home learning during the pandemic shone a light on the digital divide in this country. Government investment in digital infrastructure in schools is an important step to ensure that no community is left behind as technology advances, and that no child has a poorer educational experience for want of a computer and internet connection.”
