For middle leaders 

NAHT has a category of membership specifically for middle leaders. We offer tailored support and services for middle leaders, online advice and resources, and full trade union protection to give you peace of mind.

Am I eligible? 

To be eligible to join NAHT, you need have a leadership responsibility within an education setting. Roles that are eligible include ALENCO, SENCO, phase leaders and subject leaders. This is not an exhaustive list and if you would like further clarification please email joinus@naht.org.uk.

If you want to know about your employment rights and whether you're being treated fairly and consistently, you can find help and advice on matters which may concern you as an employee.

If you line manage staff or have accountability for a specific area, you can access help and advice to assist you in making informed decisions when carrying out your role.

NAHT president Simon Kidwell joins the panel at the Schools & Academies Show

NAHT is excited to announce its renewed partnership with the Schools & Academies Show. This collaboration is driven by a mutual dedication to advancing education and promises to bring forth a wealth of opportunities for educators, administrators and stakeholders alike.

The Schools & Academies Show will return to the NEC in Birmingham on 22 November, bringing the education community together to connect, spark new ideas and discuss the latest sector developments.

One of the many highlights of this partnership will be NAHT president Simon Kidwell participation in a panel discussion. He'll join experts to explore pressing issues in a session called 'Retention, recruitment and reciprocity: competencies needed to lead a successful education system', which delves into the essential competencies required in the education sector to foster environments that retain staff and enhance organisational capacity through staff development.

This year's Schools & Academies Show offers a platform for thought-provoking discussions and practical solutions, where attendees can anticipate comprehensive insights into challenges such as teacher recruitment, absenteeism, behaviour management, estate development and budgeting.
