Following on from the detailed Annual General Meeting NAHT(NI) held in May 2021, the AGM taking place tomorrow (Friday 22nd October) in the Stormont Hotel will be short and sweet. Its purpose is to bring our AGM calendar in line with those of NAHT regions throughout England and Wales, which take place in the autumn of each year.
To reduce contact, and be aware of our environmental footprint, documents will be online this year and we encourage attendees to read these in advance of the meeting. Please feel free to bring your laptop so that you can look at the documents during the meeting.
See below for links to the pdf documents for the AGM. (You will need to be logged in to the member portal to be able to access these):
The AGM section of the day will focus on one motion, which is the proposed NAHT(NI) regional handbook. We will then move on to the policy discussion with an input by Dr Noel Purdy, the launch of the NAHT(NI) manifesto, and the results of the workload survey.
In the afternoon we will move to the Long Gallery, Parliament Buildings, where we will hold a question and answer session with members of the Education Committee.
We look forward to welcoming our members to the first ‘in person’ NAHT event since February 2020.
