Opportunity to work with the Trussell Trust on new resources for schools

The Trussell Trust is seeking current primary and secondary school teachers to support it with the development of classroom resources that will allow children to understand more about its work, the role food banks play in their local community and the work it is doing towards a hunger-free future. It is looking to create a range of resources that will be fun, engaging and inspirational as well as educational.

To ensure that the resources are fit for purpose, it is really keen to have teachers involved in their creation – ensuring they are appropriate and accessible.

The project is split into two key areas of activity which we ask everyone taking part to sign up to:

  • Attending at least two online meetings (hosted over Zoom in July and August) to discuss themes, opportunities, and barriers as part of the development of resources
  • Checking and providing honest, constructive feedback on the resources and materials being developed.

If you would like to volunteer, please complete this application form.
