NAHT Edge

 

For middle leaders 

NAHT Edge is a category of NAHT membership specifically for middle leaders. We offer tailored support and services for middle leaders, online advice and resources, and full trade union protection to give you peace of mind.

Am I eligible? 

To be eligible to join NAHT Edge, you need have a leadership responsibility within an education setting. Roles that are eligible include ALENCO, SENCO, phase leaders and subject leaders. This is not an exhaustive list and if you would like further clarification please email joinus@naht.org.uk.

Delivery of specialist 1:1 and group interventions for children and young people in education settings

Covid-19 has impacted on the delivery of support services for children and young people with SEND. As a result, many specialist services have adjusted their delivery models during their recovery. 

The Department for Education, the Department of Health and Social Care and NHS England have worked with a range of health delivery partners, including the Royal Colleges, the Association of Educational Psychologists, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, the Association of Colleges, the National Sensory Impairment Partnership, the National Network of Parent Carer Forums and the Council for Disabled Children, to develop guidance that sets out the expectations for the delivery of specialist support for children and young people from autumn 2021 onwards.
