Joanne is Company Director of Central School Attendance and Welfare Service (a West Midlands based independent Attendance and Welfare Service) Joanne has worked in the field of Education Welfare and attendance for just over 22 years. Joanne works with a wide range of schools to develop strategic action plans and embed consistent processes and procedures to improve attendance and reduce PA.
Sharon Stevens
Sharon has 21 years experience working in the field of education welfare and school attendance improvement services. Sharon works with a range of operational and strategic school staff to audit, formulate, and implement absence management strategies and whole school attendance improvement plans. Sharon is the North East, Yorkshire and Humber AEWM rep and currently works at Stockton borough council as team manager Inclusion & vulnerable learners.
Julia Morris
Julia Morris is the Children Missing Education Manager in Bath and North East Somerset and has 16 years’ experience in the field of Education Welfare and attendance matters. A significant part of her current role, alongside taking enforcement action on behalf of the LA, is to support schools to develop a whole school approach for managing attendance and ensuring efficient, effective and meaningful school interventions are used to secure improved attendance.
