Cyber Security made simple – a school leader’s guide

Cyber Security is a term many use as a scare tactic in education. By supporting leaders to fully understand what they need to make sure that their teams are doing all they do to reduce risks and costs, meet their responsibilities and ensure that cyber security is not something that holds back teaching and learning.

•    be aware of the common types of cyber attacks that schools may experience.
•    understand how penetration testing works, why it is critical for school cybersecurity, and how to get started with a testing strategy tailored to their school environment.
•    understand the key benefits of Cyber Essentials certification, helping you prepare for common threats and meet compliance requirements, with clear next steps for adoption.
•    know how to improve your own cyber security through practical measures.
•    leave with actionable ideas on implementing ethical phishing campaigns to educate staff and students, fostering a proactive and positive cybersecurity culture.
