Last year, NAHT in partnership with WomenEd, ASCL and NGA launched their report on Closing the Gender Pay Gap in Education. As part of this report, we recommend supporting women leaders to further enhance their negotiation skills. That’s why we’re delighted to be able to offer this new course, led by Vivienne Porritt, on how to negotiate on pay and working patterns to empower our members in having these conversations.

Facilitator

Vivienne Porritt OBE is a leadership consultant supporting school/trust leaders with vision, strategy, professional learning, impact evaluation and women’s leadership.

Vivienne is a Co-founder and Strategic Leader of WomenEd, a global not-for-profit community supporting and empowering aspiring and existing women leaders in education. Vivienne is Vice President of the Chartered College of Teaching, a FED Advisory Council Member and Non-Exec Director for National College of Education.

Vivienne was a secondary headteacher, Director for School Partnerships at UCL Institute of Education, and a Chair of Governors. She writes for tes and is co-author of 10%braver: Inspiring Women to Lead Education and Being 10%braver.
