Mark Cornell, NAHT Chief of Staff

Having been with NAHT for 5 years Mark is responsible for the Unions Membership proposition, recruitment, and retention which includes Marketing, professional development and the recruitment team. He is additionally responsible for IT, facilities, and major projects for the Union.

Mark previously held board level roles at BT, E-On, Barclaycard, and Direct Line Group before moving to the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants where he was Managing Director Europe and the Americas.

Through these roles Mark has held functional responsibilities for Human Resources, Finance, Press, Policy, Communications, Strategy, Sales, Marketing and Operations both in the UK and overseas.

Outside work he enjoys travel and cars – preferably at the same time!

Andrew is head teacher of a large Primary school - Legh Vale Primary in Haydock, St Helens. 
He has been a member of NAHT since 2006 Andy is joint branch secretary of the St Helens branch.

Nicola Kearney, NAHT North West Vice President

Nicola is the Head Teacher at Eaves Primary School in St. Helens.She has been a member of NAHT since 2007.
Nicola was the President of the St. Helens branch for 3 years before taking on the role of joint branch secretary in September 2021.
