Dress codes for school staff shouldn't be underestimated. The number of cases presented to the tribunal system is low in number but high in profile. If you don't have a dress code, the creation of such a code can be a great opportunity to bring people together - management, staff, pupils and trade unions.
Get it right, and you can create a highly positive framework for working collaboratively across the school; get it wrong, and it could lead to expensive litigation!
