A summary of the High Court judgment about a school policy prohibiting prayer rituals

This advice note aims to present a summary of the judge’s findings in the 2024 High Court judgment regarding a secular secondary free school for girls and boys in London, and a claim by a student that a decision by the school to prohibit the performance of prayer rituals was discriminatory and a breach of her human rights.
