NAHT Crown Dependencies

NAHT represents school leaders in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. We provide advice, training and support for our members on a range of issues faced by senior leaders in schools. Along with our colleagues in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, NAHT is there to defend and extend the rights of school leaders. 

Working with the media

The role of school leader, together with that of the chair of governors, is to represent the school, and this will require occasional dealings with the media. This advice provides tips on making the most of media opportunities, handling bad press and commenting on wider education policy.
