While NAHT firmly supports our members in the alternative provision (AP) sector, we acknowledge that we could expand on specific activities, such as events and meetings, for these members.

On 14 July, we held our first online meeting with the sector, including guests Rob Gasson (AP representative on our SEND sector council), Cath Kitchen, CEO of the National Association of Hospital Education (NAHE) and Sarah Dove, strategic director of PRUsAP, the voice of alternative provision. Those who attended agreed that this should be the first of many – keep an eye out for future dates, particularly following the government’s SEND review publication.
